" And Elvis was the Best Man”

On the 1st and 2nd of December at the Caloundra Cultural Centre, Andrea Dalton Dance Dynamics held its annual gala performance which showcased all of the students in the dance studio ranging in age from 3 – 23 years.
The concerts entitled “And Elvis was the Best Man” displayed dance styles across the genres of ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop and musical theatre and received rave reviews from the parent body and the general public who attended the large dance spectaculars.

The story revolved around a wedding in Las Vegas and the escapades of an elderly couple who travelled to the wedding.

Des Ginns, a well known Sunshine Coast identity was the leading actor and along with Kay Oliver, a former parent and dance student of the academy, took the show to new heights. As a concert goer expressed” It (the show) was brilliant and Des Ginns should be bottled.”

The very large cast of dancers took the stage as true professionals and a memorable night of dance was delivered to the Sunshine Coast region.

On the 2nd and 3rd December 2005, Dance Dynamics held the annual concert at the Caloundra Cultural Centre to celebrate Andrea Dalton's 25th year of dance teaching on the Sunshine Coast. The concert, aptly called "For the Love Of It", was a huge success and featured dance students aged between 3 and 25 years. A special feature of the show this year, was  a performance from 11 extra males without any formal dance training other than the past 6 months,  who partnered the girls in the under 15 eisteddfod team. The item was big hit with everyone.

The brilliant choreography displayed genre of Jazz, classical ballet, tap and hip hop. Included in the programme was also a special dance tribute to Isabel Lobegeier, Andrea's mother who past away in June this year.

The junior finale dancers were led in to the theatre by two amazing looking Harley Davidson motorbikes and the audience was treated to a brilliant dance spectacular.
