Important Dates

Enrolment days :      Held at Dance Dynamics studios 127 Sugar Rd, Maroochydore Week of the 24th -29th January. Further enrollments can be made after these dates.

Dance Tuition Fees :
For a quick reference for fees and dance wear requirements for 2010 see below. Students will be given an account in class during the first weeks of the new dance year. For further information please see our web site www.dancedynamics.net.au.

Fee Schedule 2010:
Accounts will be given out at the start of each term. Fees are payable in advance and by the end of the third week of term. A late fee of $10.00 will be placed on all accounts not paid by the due date as listed on the account. Please note that there is no individual class fee payable. The fees are payable in advance per term only as a one off payment. Students cannot deduct lessons missed off their dance term fees. Make up classes may be available due to ill health or extenuating family circumstances. Students are to pay a $15.00 enrolment fee once a year to secure their place in classes.

Fees  are in total for each school term  and are inclusive of GST. Fees are based on the number of hours per week.

3/4 hour class:

1 & 1/2 hour class:
 Families or students who take more than 5 hours of classes per week will receive a 10% discount per term. Private lesson fees are payable on the day of the class and at the following rate per ½ hour: $25.00.
Credit card and eftpos facilities are available in the dancewear shop for fees and dancewear payments. Fees in cheque form are made payable to Dance Dynamics.  Arrangements for internet banking for payment of fees can be arranged.

Dance Class Attire 2010:
Hair must be worn off the face and tied up securely in all classes. Only the dance school headband can be worn as an accessory. Tights must be worn for all classes except pre school levels. No watches to be worn.

Ballet:
All grades: exam/school leotard with matching chiffon skirt (optional), pink tights, pink ballet shoes with elastics, hair in bun and off the face. Dance Dynamics Head band can be used.
Options for Gold Star grades and higher: Opaque black tights can be worn over the black school leotard, hence no need for a skirt.
In winter, students may also wear the dance school wrap around/shrug with logo as well as black leg warmers.

Tap:
Examination uniform (red school leotard, red school twirl skirt or:
Option:  School leotard (Black or red with logo) and school lycra shorts (Black or red) The red school leotard can be worn in this option. Tights must be worn at all times

Jazz: 
Examination uniform (red school leotard, red school shorts for Junior school, Black school uniform for senior school - Silver Medal and above) ) or: Option 1: School leotard (Black or red with logo) school shorts (Black or red) with Dance school logo on them. Black opaque tights or gloss tights MUST be worn under the shorts in all grades except Pre School. Option 2: School leotard (Black or red).Capri length black school pants Option 3: Capri length black school pants Dance Dynamics singlet in red/ black Note: Shorts and the singlet top cannot be worn together. The red/black school leotard can be worn in these options. No loose leg, long leg pants or board shorts or t-shirts can be worn to class. The school headbands are also suitable for jazz.

Hip Hop:
Examination uniform (school singlet top, school hip hop pants) or
Option 1: Hip hop pants with red band (school uniform) Dance Dynamics singlet in red/ black, Runners
Option 2: Hip Hop long, black baggy pants (from concert 2007). Dance Dynamics singlet in red/ black, or hip hop exam top, Runners
 
Prep and  Year 1 combined classes : 
The class attire can be any of the exam uniforms of tap, jazz or ballet. Extension classes will wear the jazz or ballet options.

Note also: It is this dance schools policy that parents do not sit in on classes each week. An open day once a term will cater for parents to observe classes. This is due mainly to distraction problems for the students and the teachers.
